Who is covered by producer responsibility for fishing gear

Companies that manufacture, import or market fishing gear in Denmark are covered by producer responsibility. This applies to Danish manufacturers, importers, private label owners and foreign distance selling companies.

Producers

Companies that manufacture fishing gear in Denmark are considered producers and are given producer responsibility.

Importers

Companies that bring fishing gear into Denmark from abroad are considered producers.

Remote sales companies

Companies outside Denmark that sell fishing gear directly to Danish consumers also have responsibilities as producers.
