If you are a producer in, say, three product areas, you pay three subscriptions. The same rates apply to every product area.

DPA's registration fee

Every producer must be registered in the Danish producer register (Producentregistret), which DPA (Dansk Producentansvar) operates. The fee is paid once and goes to DPA, not to us. We help you all the way through pre-registration, including the fiddly MitID approval.

What is detailed reporting?

The choice only exists for packaging and reusable packaging. In the other product areas you do not have to decide anything.

Standard reporting

With standard reporting you report one combined amount, and the environmental contribution is calculated at one combined price per kg. It is the simple option and is allowed below 8,000 kg a year.

Detailed reporting

With detailed reporting you split the amounts per material, and each material pays its own rate with eco-modulation. It is a requirement from 8,000 kg a year and an option for +DKK 999 a year below the threshold. The add-on is paid per product area, so separately for packaging and reusable packaging.

Below the de minimis threshold of 8,000 kg, detailed reporting is therefore a voluntary option, and it can pay off when your packaging mostly consists of materials with low rates. With combined reporting the whole amount pays the same price per kg, however recyclable the packaging is. If you document the materials, the cheaper rates come through, as in the example above. You pay according to what you make available on the market

The environmental contribution is paid per kg based on the volumes you report and covers the actual collection and recycling. The rate depends on the material and on eco-modulation, where products that are easier to recycle (green) cost less than the ones that are harder (red).

Regulatory fees

Questions about the prices

All prices on this page are excl. VAT.
Every product area has its own registration, its own deadlines and its own reporting to DPA. The subscription covers the work per product area, so if you are a producer in three of them, you pay three subscriptions. In return you get the same agreement, contact person and platform for all of it.
The environmental contribution is always calculated on the volumes you actually report. If you pass 8,000 kg a year, you switch to detailed reporting for +DKK 999 a year. We keep an eye on it and let you know.
The 3 years lock the price, not you. Cancellation takes effect immediately, whichever subscription you have chosen, and there is no notice period. So there are two things we do not do that other PROs do. We do not send you invoices for the rest of the period, and we do not hold you to continued reporting and paying the environmental contribution. Your obligation towards the authorities still follows you, but you answer for that to the Danish Energy Agency, not to us.
The membership renews automatically for a matching period if you have not cancelled it. If you only realise afterwards that you did not want to continue, write to us. We credit the renewal and close the membership without question. You do not have to argue your case.
The authorities' own fees: DPA's registration fee (one-off) and the annual regulatory fees, which we invoice together. On top of that comes the add-on of DKK 999 a year if you have to report in detail. We have no hidden fees and DKK 0 to sign up.
